Blog Comparison (My Own/Long Road Media)

I think that the Long Road Media blogs have some excellent blogs that have a good balance of images and text. However alot of the blogs that I looked at have not used enough text and have just worried about filing their blog with visual material. I think that the blogs that have been produced are not alot better than the blogs from my own school however there is always things that we can take from their blog to improve ours and vice versa for them.

5 Things my blog could improve on after looking at Long Road blogs:

• More range of visual material
• More research
• More planning evidence
• More individual images for music video planning
• More analysis

4 Things my blog has done well compared to Long Road blogs:

• More textual evidence
• Visual evidence is similar in most areas
• Idea evidence
• Planning evidence

Overall I think that when my blog is complete my blog will be just as good as the blogs seen on the Long Road blogs, I think that my blog is not so different from the blogs that I have seen and in the end my blog will be just as good.

After a lot of discussing and analysing Grime artists we have decided that we want our artist to look like a typical grime artist, mainly focusing on Tinie Tempah and Example, this is because these two artists are exactly what we are looking for our own artist because they use the typical; leather jacket sunglasses jeans and high top trainers. So we have chosen this because they are easy to purchase and easy to wear.

Song Details

The song that we have chosen is; Example - Millionaires. The genre is Grime and we have chosen this because we all like this genre and can all relate to the song.

Talent Release Form

You need a talent release for for several reasons. The main reason why you need a talent release form is for when you are out filming and people are in the background, you need permission from the person in the background to be able to film them. So you would hand them a talent release form so you have permission to film them. Also, if you do not give them a talent release form and you film them in your music video then they could sue you for not giving you permission to film them.
